PARIS (Reuters) - Would-be robbers armed with a pneumatic cavalcade dug a hovel from a Paris transport hire in to the groundwork of a bank in the early hours of Sunday but unsuccessful to seize any money or valuables, military said.

The attempted spoliation of BNP Paribas is the third time this year supposed "termite gangs" have attempted to rob a bank by digging a hovel in to the building.
