Pakistani military have arrested a man described as a "prime suspect" in the abduction of a five-year-old British child being hold to ransom for £100,000.
Sahil Saeed from Oldham, Greater Manchester, was taken from the Punjab segment this sunrise after the family was hold serf and attacked by five men armed with guns and palm grenades.
Sahil had been staying with his kin mom in the city of Jhelum and was due to lapse home today, the British high commission in Islamabad said.
Sahil"s father, Raja Naqqash Saeed, described currently how his family were knocked about and kicked during a six-hour distress that began when men pennyless in to the chateau last night.
"They took me in to the apart room and they tortured me," he told Sky News. "They said: "We will take your son and you will have to compensate £100,000."
"They took my son. They were entirely installed with guns and palm grenades. All Pakistan military know about this, and the British Council."
Saeed pronounced the kidnappers had demanded the income be paid by noon today.
A comparison military military officer in Jhelum, Aslam Tareen, pronounced military had arrested and were doubt the "prime suspect" – the motorist of a cab that came to pick up up the family from a chateau in Jhelum and take them to the airfield in Rawalpindi about 75 miles away.
"The impulse he [the cab driver] arrived at the chateau he knocked on the doorway and five persons entered the house. They searched and took afar a small cash," Tareen said.
"While going they picked up this boy, Sahil, and asked the kin to prepare 1 crore rupees and your son will be released."

"They took us all inside. They said, "Now we have to poke the house. If we find any gold, any money, so we"re going to take it." We said, "You don"t need to find anything, we"ll let you know where we left the money, and bullion and everything."
"We said, "Don"t fire any one but take whatever you want." But they still outlayed five, six, hours with us. After 5 o"clock in the morning, they took my son with them."
Speaking from her home in Oldham, Sahil"s mother, Akila Naqqash, described her son as "just a honeyed small boy".
"We can"t do anything from here – all we can do is urge that they will move my son back," she said.
She done an interest to the kidnappers on Sky News. "What has he done? He"s only a five-year-old boy. Bring him behind please."
Akila Naqqash, 31, is accepted to work in an Iceland supermarket in Shaw whilst Raja, 28, is unemployed. The integrate have dual alternative children, Anisha, four, and Hafsah, elderly twenty-one months.
Akila pronounced the family had "no chance" of profitable the ransom.
One of Sahil"s kin pronounced that when his mom last spoke to him a couple of days ago he was "missing British food similar to oven baked potatoes".
The family"s next-door neighbour, mom of dual Susan Wynn, 34, pronounced she had well known Sahil given he was a baby. She described him as a "lovely small boy".
"He"s a unequivocally accessible small boy, effusive and would do anything for my son and daughter," she said.
"He is companionable and fun. You couldn"t instruct for a nicer small boy."
Wynn pronounced she had listened the story of someone from Oldham being kidnapped, but did not realize it was her neighbour"s son until saying a print of Sahil on the television. She pronounced she was "absolutely devastated".
"I couldn"t hold it was him," she added.
